Article 8. Rights.
Without prejudice to the provisions contained in other applicable regulations, and for this Decree, guests of hotel establishments have the following rights:
a) To freely access the hotel premises and remain within them without any further limitations other than those contained in this Decree, and, if applicable, the internal regulations described in Article 13.
b) To receive full and accurate information before contracting the services offered.
c) To receive the services in the agreed conditions, concerning group, category, type, and, if applicable, speciality.
d) To have guaranteed safety, privacy, and peace of mind when at the establishment.
e) To receive an invoice from the establishment for the amount paid in exchange for any services contracted directly.
f) To lodge complaints or claims regarding the contracted services and, for that purpose, to be provided with the official Complaints and Claims Book upon request, in accordance with applicable regulations.
Article 9. Obligations.
Without prejudice to the provisions contained in other applicable regulations, and for this Decree, guests of hotel establishments have the following obligations:
a) To complete and sign, before using the facilities, the corresponding check-in documents.
b) To comply with the safety, hygiene, and conduct rules established by the management for the proper use of the facilities.
c) To comply with any internal regulations which may exist within the establishment.
d) To respect the hotel property, facilities, equipment, and installations.
e) To pay for the contracted services when the invoice is presented at the hotel, or according to the agreed conditions. Under no circumstances shall the filing of a complaint or claim exempt the guest from the obligation to pay.
